| Our second 2011 clean-up of Rainbow Lake WMA had been postponed several times so we picked an "off" weekend to do it. That weekend happened to be Labor Day weekend, so we expected a very small volunteer group (possibly only two). As it turned out, we had four volunteers show up: Bill Duckardt, Fred Lentz, Dennis Snyder and Zeke Zellman. The place was relatively clean so we were able to make quick work of the project, collecting three bags of trash. Duck invited the group over to his home afterward for a barbecue (burgers & brats) and beverages. Thanks to all who were able to make it out there and to Duck for going above and beyond the call of duty with the bbq. | |
